Burke Miller is the Founder of the Executive Wisdom Institute. The Wisdom Disciplines™ Framework—Burke’s signature methodology for coaching executives and training/facilitating executive teams—is a product of his 20 years of work with leaders and organizations.

Prior to founding the Executive Wisdom Institute, Burke trained and facilitated as a senior consultant for Verus Global, a leading consulting company in leadership and corporate culture. Burke has taught extensively internationally, delivering leadership trainings in Latin America, Europe, Australia, China, Russia, India and Japan for multinational clients including Owens-Illinois, Kellogg, Proctor and Gamble, Accenture, Nestle and Mazda.

Burke is known for his ability to help clients achieve actionable breakthroughs quickly—whether in the service of a turnaround or an intense passion to grow. Throughout his life, Burke has taken on major challenges that required him to grow himself beyond his comfort zone. He has navigated challenging personal and professional change with grace, and is no stranger to the demands, risks and rewards of uncharted territory. Burke’s executive clients are almost always in the process or on the cusp of major change, and his gift is helping them stretch their mindsets and behaviors to meet different and/or greater challenges.

Burke’s formal education includes an MA from Antioch University and a BA from Williams College. Burke also has extensive formal training, experience and passionate interest in educational design, human development and psychology. He has advanced training in organizational and executive coaching from the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and the Center for Right Relationship; and training in leadership methodologies with CTI, Verus Global, and Denver Community Leadership Forum. He is certified in the Leadership Circle Profile, a comprehensive 360 feedback and coaching process.

Burke works out of his office and workshop/retreat space on a stunning mountain acreage just outside of Boulder, CO.
